- On the occasion of Panchayat Raj Day in April 24th, the PM of India launched this scheme.
- It was launched to map residential land ownership in the villages
- These will be measured using drones to create a non-disputable record.
- Property card for every property in the village will be prepared by states.
- The scheme aims to revolutionize property record maintenance in India.
- It helps to map rural inhabited lands using drones and latest survey methods.
- The scheme is developed by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
- The scheme was launched in 6 states namely Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh.
