- The Tamil Nadu government has reconstituted this commission.
- Earlier, it has been headed by a retired High Court judge M. Thanikasalam who has submitted his resignation letter to the government.
- So, the government named retired Madras High Court judge V. Bharathidasan as its chairperson.
