- TAPAS 201 UAV has indigenously developed by Defence Research Development Organisation.
- DRDO and the Indian Navy have successfully demonstrated transferring of command-and-control capabilities of the UAV from a distant ground station to onboard INS Subhadra.
- The UAV was seamlessly flying around an altitude of 20,000ft (ASML).
- The indigenously developed TAPAS 201 Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE).
- It has developed to carry out the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance roles.
- It is comparable in the same class as Israeli HERON UAV.
