- Tax revenues in 2021-22 exceeded Union Budget's estimates by ₹ 5 lakh crore
- Against the Union Budget estimates of ₹ 22.17 lakh crore, the revenue collections as per the pre-actual figures were ₹ 27.07 lakh crore.
- The tax revenue during 2021-22 was 34 per cent higher than ₹ 20.27 lakh crore recorded in 2020-21.
