World Food Programme (WFP) of the United Nations has published a list comparing the price of a plate of food around the world on the occasion of World Food Day.
South Sudan is on the top of that list where a shopper would have to spend more for food.
India stands at 28th position as per the percentage of money.
On an average an Indian spends 3.5% of his/ her daily income for a plate of food as compared to 0.6% by a New Yorker.
