- India’s first largest biotechnology conference - the Global Bio-India (GBI) Summit, 2019 has recently concluded in New Delhi.
- The event was organized by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, along with Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).
- BIRAC is a not-for-profit Schedule B, Public Sector Enterprise set up by DBT.
- The theme of the event was ‘Power to transform lives’.
