- The sixth summit of the heads of the Caspian states took place in the capital of Turkmenistan.
- The meeting was attended by the leaders of the Caspian “five” countries - Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
