• A 26-year-old woman from Maharashtra has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking permission to abort her 26-week foetus. • This petition was came to the hearing under the supreme court justice S.A Bapte and Narayana Rao. • The medical report was submitted on behalf of a Mumbai-based hospital that examined the woman's health. • It was reported that the skull of the embryo was not fully developed and it was reported that allowing it to grow might affect the woman mentally. • Furthermore, the judges insisted that the embryo should be aborted only in the hospital where the girl was treated. • According to Section 3 (2) (b) of the Act to be disseminating the embryo more than 20 weeks has been banned .But in the extraordinary situationMedicinal dissolution process with court approval is being pursued. • Similarly, the Supreme Court has been given a number of judgments in recent times
