- The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is observed every year on the third Sunday of November.
- This year (2018) the day falls on 18th November.
- The theme for the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2018 is “Roads have stories”.
- This day remembers people who had killed and injured on the roads across the World, together with their families, friends and others who are affected.
- This day also thanks the emergency services.
- This day was started by the Road Peace organization in 1993. In 2005, the United Nations endorsed this day as a global observance.
