- Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami presented State awards on 72nd republic day.
- The floats by Health and Police departments won the first prize.
- Rural Development Depart got the second prize.
- Tourism and Information Technology departments won the third prize for the floats.
- Salem City Police Station, Thiruvannamalai City Police Station and Kotturpuram Police Stations received the top three ranking stations across the State.
- C Narayanasamy Naidu award for highest productivity in rice was given to G Selvakumar, North Srivilliputhur village.
- K.A. Abdul Jabbar from Coimbatore district received the Kottai Ameer Communal Harmony Award for 2021.
- Gandhi Adigal Police Medal to following four police personnel
- T Magudeeswari - St Thomas Mount
- N Selvaraju- Salem
- S Shunmuganathan- Srivilliputhur and
- S Rajasekaran- Thiruvannamalai.
- Anna Medal for Gallantry awardees are
- P. Mullai – The teacher who saved her 26 students from the LPG explosion
- A. Prakash - Forest Veterinary Assistant Surgeon who involved in the rescue of an elephant that fell into a 60-feet deep well.
- Loco Pilot J. Suresh - saved the lives of over 1,500 passengers on board the train.
- R. Pugazendiran - saved the life of an injured policeman after a tree fell.
