- Ahmedabad-based Infibeam, India’s first listed ecommerce player, is acquiring Snapdeal’s wholly-owned subsidiary Unicommerce, a cloud-based inventory management company. Infibeam will issue a preferential issue of optional convertible debentures (OCD) to Snapdeal.
- After IOC, the state-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) has launched home-delivery of diesel in Mumbai and has planned to expand it to other parts of the country.
- Bangladesh has proposed restructuring of the charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to pave way for inclusion of non-Muslim countries like India as an "observer state".
