- The first commercial flight (42-seater ATR aircraft of the Alliance Airlines) of Arunachal Pradesh under UDAN scheme landed at Pasighat airport or Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) in East Siang district.
- Barcelona forward Lionel Messi was crowned Europe's top-goalscorer for the fifth time after scoring on 34 occasions in the La Liga for the Catalan side. Messi's rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won the award four times in the past, ended up with 26 goals in the La Liga. Liverpool's Mohamed Salah was second in the list with 32 goals.
- NITI Aayog has signed Statement of Intent (SoI) with noted media personality and entrepreneur Sushant Singh Rajput to collaborate and support its flagship Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) initiative. He will also support NITI Aayog in promoting Women Transforming India Awards 2018 with the theme ‘Women and Entrepreneurship’.
