- Tata Trusts signs MoU with the government to provide development support in Naxal-hit districts in Chhattisgarh. These eight worst Naxal-affected districts are covered under Transformation of aspirational districts Programme of NITI Aayog.
- Indian Navy inducted Landing Craft Utility MK-IV LCU vessel L54 at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Island. It is fourth of total eighth Mark IV LCU vessels to be inducted into Indian Navy.
