- Arvind Saxena has been appointed to serve as the acting Chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Saxena, a UPSC member, would be succeeding incumbent Vinay Mittal who completes his term on June 19.
- V. Chowdary, the retired Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC), New Delhi.
- M. Bhasin, Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Bank, has been appointed as the Vigilance Commissioner in the CVC, New Delhi.
- The above appointments have been made for a term of four years from the date(s) on which they enter upon their office(s) or till they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
