- The Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has recently launched an indigenously designed and developed India’s first 205T Electric Drive Rear Dump Truck (Model BH205-E) in its Mysuru plant for use in the project of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Singrauli.
- The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has partnered with payments technology company ‘Financial Software and Systems (FSS)’ to create payments network for unorganized retail.
- Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has made it mandatory for unlisted public companies to issue new shares or transfer of all shares in dematerialized or demat (i.e. in electronic form) form beginning October 2, 2018.
- The 23rd Meeting of India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC) was held at Moscow. The Indian delegation was led by the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
- The IRIGC-TEC is a standing body which annually meets and reviews ongoing activities of bilateral cooperation.
