- NASA’s Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) spacecraft has found water locked inside the asteroid Bennu.
- It revealed the presence ofhydroxyl molecules that contain oxygen and hydrogen atoms bonded together.
- The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has appointed Brijendra Pal Singh as the new chairman and President of Film and Television Institute of India.
