- 50th Edition of World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting for 2020 will be held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland from January 21-24, 2020.
- The Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Department of Odisha unveiled a mascot named “Tikki Mausi” in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for nutrition awareness purpose.
- This mascot name “Tikki Mausi” is referenced to second mother of a child.
- Suresh Chitturi, Vice Chairman of Indian poultry firm Srinivasa Farms was appointed as the new Chief of the International Egg Commission for a 2-year tenure.
- He is the first Chief from Asian region to this organization.
