- In the second assembly of International Solar Alliance (ISA) being held at New Delhi, two more countries - Eritrea and Saint Kittis and Nevis have signed the ISA Framework Agreement.
- This makes total number of countries who have signed ISA to 83.
- Telecom regulator TRAI has fixed phone call ring time at 30 seconds for mobiles and 60 seconds for landline phones in case the call is neither answered nor rejected by a subscriber.
- ISRO has informed that the CHACE-2 payload aboard the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter, has detected Argon-40 from an altitude of approximately 100 kilometres of the moon.
- Budget carrier IndiGo has joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a member. This will help the airline develop strong partnerships in international markets.
- IATA is a global trade association for the airline industry representing over 290 airlines.
