- With 77 million people affected by diabetics, India has the second highest number of diabetics in the age group 20 – 79.
- China leads the list of top 10 countries with 116 million diabetics.
- The Eleventh edition of Bal Sangam festival was organised by National School of Drama (NSD) in its premises in New Delhi. It is a confluence of folk and traditional art forms performed by children.
