- Israel has issued a 90-day notice to inform thousands of Africans who entered the country illegally that they have three months to leave or face indefinite imprisonment. The migrants will be given up to $3,500 for leaving within the next 90 days. They will be given the option of going to their home country or third countries.
- The Israeli authorities, however exempted children, victims of human trafficking and slavery and the elderly.
