- The Ministry for Women and Children Development along with an alliance of national and international partners has launched a new initiative called YuWaah.
- The initiative aims to transform the country into a hub of education, skilling and employment for young people aged between 10-24 years.

- Advocates Day is celebrated in India every year on December 3rd to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. He was an advocate by profession.
- India officially handed over "Made in India" Fast Interceptor Craft to Coast Guard of the Maldives. It is expected to enhance Maldives’ maritime security, and promote the blue economy and tourism.
- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has referred Dewan Housing Finance Corp. Ltd (DHFL) to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for insolvency proceedings.
- DHFL thus becomes the first financial services player to go NCLT for a possible debt resolution.
