- Three States namely Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura celebrated their Statehood Days on January 21, 2020.
- On this day in 1972, all the three states became full-fledged states under the North Eastern Region (Reorganisation) Act, 1971.
- The realty developer DLF, backed by Singapore’s sovereign fund GIC, will develop an IT park in Taramani, Chennai.
- With this, Chennai will become DLF’s second largest market after Gurugram.
