- The Global Response International Pledging Conference, an online summit, was recently initiated by the European Union.
- However, US and Russia did not take part in the conference.
- The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy released report on “Impact of Energy Efficiency Measures, 2018-19”.
- The report assessed annual savings of energy and carbon dioxide emissions.
