- Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu has constituted a five-member committee, headed by Prasar Bharati Chairman A. Surya Prakash, has been formed to select the candidate for the post of editor-in-chief of Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV).
- The Union Ministry of Telecommunications cleared the detailed project report (DPR) of the project, which was prepared and submitted by the Tamil Nadu Cable TV Corporation last month, for providing internet services through optical fiber cable.
