- The Uttar Pradesh government has launched Varasat Campaign in the state to curb property and land-related disputes in the rural areas.
- The National Water Mission in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) launched “Jal Shakti Abhiyan II: Catch the Rain awareness campaign” to promote rainwater harvesting.
- The Tagline of this campaign is “Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls”.
- The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched a call centre for aqua farmers in Vijayawada at Andhra Pradesh
- It is India first call centre in this regard.
- The Kerala government and UN Women have collaborated to establish India’s first Gender Data Hub.
- It is to be established at the Gender Park headquartered at Thiruvanantha puram.
- The Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated the International Gita Mahotsav 2020 at Haryana’s Kurukshetra.
