The Tamilnadu state has come out with Rs 300 crore COVID-19 assistance package to benefit 1.4 lakh people under the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project (TNRTP).
The fund for the project is backed by the World Bank, which was announced by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy.
It will bridge the supply-chain gap in rural enterprises during the lockdown.
It will help farmers, producers and women's self-help groups.
The fund will provide hope to these migrants who want to start their own enterprises in the state.
