- The Reserve Bank of India has released the report on “Trend and Progress of Banking in India 2018 - 19”.
- It records the performance of the banking sector, including co-operative banks, and non-banking financial institutions during 2018 - 19 & 2019 - 20 till now.
- According to the report, the highest number of fraud cases have been reported in public sector banks during the financial year 2018 - 19.
