Two technologies by CSIR-SERC

- Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) - SERC here has developed two technologies.
- One of them is eco-friendly.
- It uses industrial waste, including fly ash and calcium carbide sludge, with novel geometrically shaped blocks that make the building seismically resistant.
- With the other technology, thermally efficient blocks are made by using thermocol in between ferro-cement layers.
