- Indian born UK author Jasbinder Bilan’s named as the winner of 2019 UK children’s book award named Costa Children’s Award.
- This is for her debut novel ‘Asha and the Spirit Bird’, which focusing on the readers of age range 9 years and above.
- The award will be presented annually across 5 categories of “First Novel, Novel, Biography, Poetry and Children’s Book”.
