Gujarat had the highest utilization to released fund ratio of Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds in the fiscal year 202223.
Rs. 66 crores were allocated to the Gujarat, but it utilized Rs. 95.77 crore, or 145.11%.
Other major states with the greatest utilisation to released fund ratios are Jharkhand (128.45%), Karnataka (127.76%), Kerala (122.33%), West Bengal (113.54%), and Tamil Nadu (112.86%).
The MPLAD Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme and it is fully funded by the Government of India.
