- Prime Minister flagged off Gandhinagar - Mumbai Vande Bharat Express at Gujarat's Gandhinagar station.
- This new Vande Bharat Express, which connects the capital cities of Maharashtra and Gujarat, is the third Vande Bharat Express in India.
- It was first introduced on the New Delhi-Varanasi route.
- The second one was on New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra route.
- Vande Bharat Express 2.0 will provide passengers aircraft-like services and safety features including Kavach technology.
- It is an indigenously developed Train Collision Avoidance System.
