- The Defence Research and Development Organisation tested the “vertical launch-short range surface-to-air missile”, successfully.
- The missile was test-fired from the integrated test range in Chandipur, off the Odisha coast.
- Its launch was conducted from a vertical launcher towards an electronic target at a very low altitude.
