Vidarbha won Ranji Trophy title after beating Delhi by nine wickets at Indore's Holkar stadium.
Until 2017, Vidarbha had never won a single Ranji Trophy in the 84-year long history of the tournament.
Last year, it was Gujarat who won their maiden Ranji title.

The Ranji Trophy is a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India between teams representing regional and state cricket associations.
The competition is named after first Indian cricketer who played international cricket, Ranjit Sinhji, who was also known as "Ranji". He played for England and Sussex.
Bombay have won the tournament the most number of times with 41 wins including 15 back-to-back wins from 1958–59 to 1972–73.
