- National Informatics Centre Services Inc (NICSI) celebrated its 25th years of the establishment.
- On that occasion, virtual intelligence tool ‘Tejas’ is launched by Electronics, Information Technology, and Communications Ministry.
- It will extract important information from data.
- It will help in improving policy decisions and efficiency of government’s services.
- It will also be ensuring the proper delivery of citizen-centric services.
- ‘Work from Anywhere’ portal was also launched along with Tejas.
- This portal allows employees to access applications like mail, e-office, calendar, and other departmental application from anywhere.
- NICSI is working under the National Informatics Centre.
