  • The Union Minister for Power R.K. Singh launched the Virtual Smart Grid Knowledge Center and Innovation Park.
  • This was launched as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Program.
  • The POWERGRID established the Smart Grid Knowledge Center (SGKC) to demonstrate and advance cutting-edge smart grid technologies.
