- India launched recently INSACOG (Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genetic Consortium) labs.
- It is a consortium of ten labs namely NIBMG Kolkata, ILS Bhubaneswar, NIV Pune, CCS Pune, CCMB Hyderabad, CDFD Hyderabad, InSTEM Bengaluru, NIMHANS Bengaluru, IGIB Delhi, NCDC Delhi.
