- The Water Heroes contest was launched by the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti.
- The main aim of the contest is to reach out to people with messages of water conservation and management.
- The entries of water conservation would be invited to share their success stories.
- This is to be done through video of 1-5 minutes along with a write up of 300 words.
- Of these, 10 entries are to be invited for awards.
