  • Vishnu Gopal won the Animal Portraits Category prize.
  • Other winners were Nejib Ahmed, whose image featured a distressed tiger among anxious people on the fringes of Assam's Orang National Park.
  • Raj Mohan's photograph of the Pallikaranai marshes, a Ramsar site, enveloped in flames from burning rubbish.
  • Vihaan Talya Vikas,10-year-old from Bengaluru, is clinching the top prize in his category.
  • This prize is often referred to as the 'Oscars of Photography'.
  • It serves as a global platform for showcasing the world's most exceptional wildlife photography.
