- The Women and Child Development Ministry celebrates the International Women’s Day week from the 1st of March as an Iconic Week as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
- This will mark an occasion to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equity and women’s empowerment.
- On 3rd March 2022, the theme for the celebration was ‘Women of Tomorrow’.
- On 8th March, Nari Shakti Puraskaar will be given.
- And the International Women’s Day Conference for Women Police Delegates from all States and UTs will also be organized.
