- India will host the Women’s World Boxing Championships in 2023 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
- It is the biennial amateur boxing competition organized by the International Boxing Association (IBA).
- Notably, India has never conducted the men’s world championship.
- But it will be the third time that the elite women’s competition will be held in India.
- The Women championship was held in 2006 and 2018 in New Delhi.
