- The world's highest altitude weather station was destroyed due to hurricane-force winds on Mount Everest.
- This weather station located at an altitude of 8,810 metres (28,904 ft); just 39 metres (128 ft) below Everest’s summit.
- This one got place on Guinness World Records.
- Previously, the weather station was located on Everest’s Balcony, around 400 metres lower than the new one.
