- This day aims to raise awareness about the value and benefits of accreditation in ensuring competence, reliability, and credibility in industries.
- This Day came into existence in 2007 as a result of a joint effort between the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
- The theme of 2023 is “Accreditation: Supporting the Future of Global Trade”.
