- World Allergy Week is an annual global initiative of the World Allergy Organisation (WAO) from 2011.
- It was observed worldwide between 7th to 13th of April, 2019.
- The theme for this year is “The Global Problem of Food Allergy”.
- WAO first hosted “World Allergy Day” in July 2005 in association with the biennial World Allergy Congress. It is celebrated annually on 8 July.
