World Braille Day 2020 – January 4

  • World Braille Day is observed on January 4 every year across the world to mark the remembrance of Louis Braille.
  • Louis Braille invented Braille script which helps the visually disability persons to read as well as to write.
  • The aim is to spread awareness among society about the plight and cause of people with visual abilities.
  • United Nations Observed First Official World Braille Day on 4th January 2019.
