- This year it was celebrated on 11th October 2019.
- It was established at the International Egg Commission’s (IEC) Vienna conference 1996.
- Andhra Pradesh was planning to celebrate World Egg Day in Vijayawada.
- The theme of 2019 is “Eat Your Egg Today and Every Day”.
