The theme for 2023 is "Closing the Circle: Addressing Gender-Based Violence in Older Age Policy, Law and Evidence-based Responses."
According to the recent data, 28% are the victims of physical violence, followed by disrespect (54%), verbal abuse 36% and neglect 29%.
