- The World Hello Day is a secular holiday observed annually on November 21. This year (November 21, 2018) marks the 46th World Hello Day.
- It aims to express that conflicts should be resolved through communication rather than the use of force.
- The World Hello Day began in response to the conflict between Egypt and Israel in the Fall of 1973.
- Since then, the World Hello Day has been observed by the people in 180 countries.
- The concept was created by Brian McCormack, a Ph.D. graduate of Arizona State University, and Michael McCormack, a graduate of Harvard University.
