Facts
- According to a report by the International Federation of Journalists, 95 journalists have been killed in 2018 for defending freedom the press.
- 18 journalists have been killed since January 2019.
- India ranks 140th out of 180 countries in press freedom ranking released by Reporters sans frontiers.
