- The Nature Forever Society was started by Mohammed Dilawar, an Indian conservationist.
- He started his work helping the house sparrow in Nashik.
- The theme for World Sparrow Day 2021 is “I Love Sparrows.”
- In 2010, the first World Sparrow Day was observed.
