- According to Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Cities report, the city of Udaipur has ranked 3rd among the 15 of the world’s best cities.
- The top 2 cities are both in Mexico: San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca.
- The ranks were given based on sights and landmarks, culture, cuisine, friendliness, shopping, and overall value.
- Earlier in 2009 it has ranked 1st in the list making it ‘best city in the world to visit’. And in 2017 also it has received the 3rd rank.
- Udaipur is also known as both the City of Lakes and the Venice of the East and it occupies a stunning location on the banks of Lake Pichola in south Rajasthan.
